The Design Hub hosts exhibitions throughout the year. The underpinning theme is design, but the exhibitions may suggest solutions to social issues, create ties between designers and businesses, showcase promising young designers, or introduce design activities taking place overseas. The forum is for connecting.
Extend
The Design Hub holds seminars, talks, and workshops associated with exhibitions in progress.
Occasionally, press conferences concerning design are held here.
The media and many people come to Tokyo Midtown, the "art and design place" in Tokyo.
Nurture
The Design Hub also offers a professional academic forum.
Symposia take up design issues for debate, business seminars consider management from the perspective of design, training programs for designers are developed, and the International Design Liaison Center supports the training of international-design human resources of the next generation through an alliance of six academic research institutes overseas.
