Since its launch in 1957, the Good Design Award has grown hand in hand with Japanese design.
The G Mark represents both the symbol of this pursuit and the certification of the award itself.
Whether tangible or intangible, the award regards things and events as “design” as long as they are created to realize ideas and purposes. To date, more than fifty thousand award-winning designs have enriched our society and daily lives.

This year, 1,619 “Good Designs” were selected through meticulous screening.
Good things are chosen because they are “good.” But what exactly makes them good? Why are they good? And to what extent?
Their true value is not always apparent at a glance. So come and see them for yourself - touch them, buy them, study them, and enjoy them!
We hope you discover the “richness” hidden in each Good Design—something that is undoubtedly good, even for reasons that may be hard to define.

◆Exhibition of Good Design Award Winners
All 1,619 winners of the 2025 Good Design Award will be exhibited across venues including the Hall and Atrium on the B/1F, Conference on the 4/F, and Design Hub on the 5/F at Tokyo Midtown. The exhibition will broadly showcase products and projects recognized for their design, including the Good Design Grand Prize, Special Awards, GOOD DESIGN BEST 100, as well as professional products like household goods, home appliances, digital devices, medical equipment, and commercial machinery, alongside architecture, services, and regional initiatives.
The Design Hub will display over 200 award-winning architectural, interior, and civil engineering designs via panels.

◆Voting for “Our Favorite G Mark”
Visitors to the exhibition can vote for “Our Favorite G Mark” from among the Good Design Gold Award and Good Design Grand Award winners.

◆“My Favorite Item” Introductions & Exhibition Stamp Rally
We will introduce one item each selected by the jury members from this year's Good Design Award winners.
A stamp rally around the exhibition venues is also held.

◆ Introduction of the “Good Design New Hope Award”
We will introduce the latest 2025 winners of the Good Design New Hope Award, a gateway award for students and young designers.

◆ Special Exhibition of Overseas Design
We will showcase award-winning products and projects from Thailand's “Design Excellence Award (DE Mark)”, which has a collaborative relationship with the Good Design Award, in a special booth.

GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA POP-UP STORE

GOOD DESIGN STORE TOKYO by NOHARA will open a pop-up store at Tokyo Midtown during the exhibition period. Approximately 250 award-winning items, including many of this year's Good Design Award winners, will be available for purchase. You can also be among the first to buy the latest award-winning products.
