Welcome to the GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION!
Since its establishment in 1957, the GOOD DESIGN AWARD has evolved alongside design in Japan. This year marks its 70th edition. Over the years, more than 50,000 designs have received the award. Each embodies the determination of people who consider how things ought to be and strive to create something better.
This year, the GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION brings together some 1,500 good designs, selected from more than 5,000 entries through rigorous evaluation and passionate discussion. Here, you will discover designs shaped by the trial and error of committed people around the world, full of surprise and inspiration. See them, touch them, buy them, learn from them, and imagine the future just ahead. Above all, enjoy the exhibition!

Exhibition of GOOD DESIGN AWARD Works

All 1,484 award-winning designs from the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2026 will be on display. Across 9 venues within Tokyo Midtown, the exhibition covers every kind of design, from everyday goods, furniture and consumer products to professional products such as medical devices and commercial equipment, as well as architecture, services, community initiatives, and other design-driven products, projects and activities.

The B1F Hall will feature the work awarded this year’s GOOD DESIGN GRAND AWARD, along with the GOOD DESIGN BEST 100 and the works selected for the special awards. Visitors can also vote for “Our Favorite Good Design” from among the 20 GOOD DESIGN GRAND AWARD and GOOD DESIGN GOLD AWARD winners. Each visitor may vote once through November 3. The result will be announced at the GOOD DESIGN AWARD Ceremony on November 4.

Venue Design with a “Multicolor” Theme

The GOOD DESIGN AWARD brings together a vibrant range of designs from around the world, each shaped by a distinct vision. As the culmination of the award program, the exhibition’s graphics and spatial design were created around the theme of “Multicolor.” Alongside the award-winning designs, enjoy the colorful space composed of cubes.

“My Favorite Design” and Exhibition Stamp Rally

In the “My Favorite Design” section, each of the 101 jury members presents one personally meaningful award-winning works, together with their comments. A stamp rally will also take visitors around the venues throughout Tokyo Midtown. Collect all 9 stamps to receive an original GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION sticker.

Hiroshima Good Design Award Special Exhibition

As a special feature, the GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION will showcase regional design awards from across Japan. For its inaugural edition this year, the exhibition will feature the Hiroshima Good Design Award, a recognition program established by the City of Hiroshima in 1994. Along with 35 of the latest award-winning works selected from outstanding products by Hiroshima manufacturers, products from 5 award-winning companies will also be available for purchase at the venue.

Introduction of the GOOD DESIGN NEW HOPE AWARD

The latest award-winning works of the GOOD DESIGN NEW HOPE AWARD, which is a gateway to success for students and young designers, will be introduced.
